Emma is a Director and Producer. She is Co-Artistic Director of Pins and Needles Productions, and Associate Director of Les Enfants Terribles.
For Pins and Needles, Emma is currently working on her adaptation of MR POPPER'S PENGUINS, which plays at the New Victory Theatre in New York this autumn before a Christmas run in the West End; and a new adaptation of THE LITTLE MERMAID, with the egg theatre in Bath.
For Les Enfants Terribles, she is currently working on an outdoor festival show entitled THE FANTASTICAL FLYING EXPLORATORY LABORATORY; and an interactive dining experience DINNER AT THE TWITS.
Directing credits for Pins and Needles include Raymond Briggs’ THE BEAR (Polka / The Albany) and FATHER CHRISTMAS (Lyric Hammersmith / West Yorkshire Playhouse), both of which return this Christmas; SCOOP (Latitude); FLIES (Tobacco Factory); ERNEST AND THE PALE MOON (UK tour); HOLLY AND IVAN'S CHRISTMAS ADVENTURE (Lyric Hammersmith); SELECT A QUEST (Bristol Old Vic); THE ELVES AND SHOEMAKERS (Tobacco Factory) and GIZMO LOVE (Tobacco Factory).
For Les Enfants Terribles: Adventures in Wonderland (The Vaults); The Marvellous Imaginary Menagerie (UK tour); Anyone for Tea (UK tour); Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros (Old Vic Tunnels); Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs (UK and international tours).
Emma is also an Associate Artist of the egg, Theatre Royal Bath, and has directed numerous productions in both the egg and Ustinov Studio, including Glengarry Glen Ross; The Shape of Things; and Beasts and Beauties.
Emma trained at the National Theatre Studio and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
